We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in general ledger accounting and tax compliance. As a Finance Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while also assisting with tax planning and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as necessary to reflect the financial activity of the company. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support budgeting and forecasting processes. Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, VAT and other regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assist with planning initiatives and provide support during audits (external/internal) Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred but not required. 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on general ledger accounting and tax compliance. Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements. Experience with accounting software MACONOMY or any equivalent (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, with experience preparing and filing tax returns. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
