ABOUT THE ROLE
The “Sourcing Finance Business Partner” controls and optimizes the utilization of sourcing resources in order to ensure that the organization's short- and long-term business objectives are achieved.
Co-pilot with the business and provide meaningful decision support to the Sourcing manager whilst influencing and challenging key decisions.
Act as the Finance interface to non-finance departments combining financial skills with sourcing, cleaning & drying business knowledge. Follow financial and business performance and undertake ad hoc financial analyses to drive business cases.
Ensure integrity and financial control of the Sourcing & drying business.
The “Sourcing Finance Business Partner” proactively provides insights on business opportunities and risks as well as the respective financial impact to Sourcing Manager , Manager FBP country and country managing director.
This job supports business initiatives aimed at improving operational and financial performance. This job gets guidance and support from the Manager, Finance Business Partnering country on complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of duties.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDES
+ Management:
+ External communication: Is the go-to person when it comes to maintaining good relationship with regulatory body (CCC) regarding sourcing topics
+ Internal communication: Manages the communication with internal key sourcing stakeholder for local topics (mainly regional & local sourcing directors, Finance Business Partner Sustainability & Sourcing, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal)
+ Cost control:
+ Performs operation and business management reviews
+ Develops, analyzes, and presents financial results to the business and management (Sourcing, Cleaning & Drying Non-financial and financial data)
+ Provides insights on financial improvement opportunities and supports the sourcing leaders to achieve them
+ Budgeting:
+ Support budget holders on preparing operating budgets (OPEX and CAPEX)
+ Process improvement
+ Supports the implementation of effective financial controls in the sourcing, cleaning & drying sites.
+ Ensures a good understanding and control of sourcing, cleaning & drying operations and that all necessary information is recorded in the appropriate information system
+ Delivers improved procedures and follow up on internal/external audit report points raised regarding sourcing
+ Strategic thinking:
+ Contributes to developing business strategy (pre-financing, volume & beans quality, cleaning & drying etc...)
+ Facilitate strategic planning processes across the sourcing, cleaning & drying business
+ Support the leader on preparing and determining business objectives, strategies, and tactics
+ Act as strategic advisory interface to the Sourcing management team
+ Perform any ad hoc activities requested by the manager FBP or any relevant stakeholder
+ Full sourcing flow:
+ From beans cleaning to transfer to factory sites/export.
ABOUT YOU
+ Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
+ 5-6 years’ experience in finance as a supervisor (for stakeholder management)
+ Minimum 6+years’ experience in controlling, finance, audit
+ Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B / food industries
+ Technical proficiency (e.g., SAP – ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Microsoft Office and Google-based applications knowledge
+ Great analytical skills
+ Strong communication skills (writing & speaking / English & French)
+ English business proficiency (written and spoken)
+ Adaptability to changing environment
+ Professional & Positive attitude
+ Leadership experience (Drive to Deliver, Dealing with People, Shaping the Business)
+ Promote knowledge sharing organization-wide
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes, technologies, and organization
+ Perform any ad hoc activity requested by Manager, FBP country or any relevant stakeholder (Sourcing Manager…)
