Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.

 

About the Role 

 

Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, Health & Home, this role will see you working side by side with the Merchandise teams to deliver sales, margin and cost targets, as well as provide financial governance and performance reporting, and always be improving systems and processes to ensure objective deliveries.

 

You will also;  

Identify opportunities to drive sales over and above plans Influence business decision making with fact based insightful and innovative analysis Ensure plans are in place to deliver the strategic objectives of the Business Unit & strategic initiatives Drive insight and ROI analysis for transformational projects and business cases Track key initiatives and promotions to ensure they are on target to delivered expected outcome Support the annual Five-year strategic plan and budget process for the Health & Home Business Unit   Drive the monthly forecast process ensuring all risk and opportunities are understood and communicated

  

 
About you and your skills 

 

We are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner with a continuous improvement mindset and track record of execution. This role is best suited to someone with experience working with complex organisations, and confident simplifying complex financial information for financial and stakeholders.

 

You will also have; 

CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification Tobacco or Gift Cards experience highly advantageous Experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Microsoft Office applications (inc. Excel, PowerPoint), TM1, SAP Advanced Excel and modelling skill with process automation experience  Strong story telling ability and PowerPoint skills
