The PositionFinance Business Partner (Patient Solutions)

The position

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) serves as key business partner to the commercial organisation. As an FBP you demonstrate your in-depth business understanding combined with financial expertise in driving initiatives forward that are essential to delivering our strategy. The FBP builds networks across the organisation (including the Finance Excellence Chapters), to share best practices and co-create solutions that generate value for the affiliate, the enterprise and the customer. As FBP, you are a trusted thought partner to business stakeholders and have close contact with customers, where you will ensure efficient resource allocation and maximum impact along the customer journey.
 

The opportunity:

Own the financial and business planning processes. Act as a key partner in developing a coherent affiliate commercial strategy as well as commercial business related processes such as opportunity prioritisation and creative strategies for revenue generation.Propose & drive ideas for P&L improvement - upsell opportunities, efficiency/waste improvement, risk reduction, channel filling etc. Balance resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activitiesPartner with the business and support co-lead touchpoints throughout the whole customer journey with an enterprise approach. Play active part in ensuring balanced commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions and implementing sustainable pricing strategies.Support the business in co-creating new business models, quantifying value, and providing pricing transparency.Ensure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advise on deviations and corrective actions.Participate in the development of motivational systems for commercial departments.Stimulate behaviours across the organisation aligned with financial objectives. Participate in FBP communities to learn, share and implement best practices across markets.
