Finance Business Partner Job Category Accounting / Finance Market Location VA - Northern Virginia Location VA - Reston Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg01/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=NVRINC&cws=52&rid=34180) As a Business Partner in NVR’s Financial Planning Department, you will gain exposure to our corporate finance functions and operational leaders to help you build a strong understanding of our business. You'll engage with the senior management team to complete ad hoc reporting and analysis that will drive the business and work alongside senior leaders to identify opportunities and affect positive change. Primary Responsibilities + Provide value-added financial analyses to senior management in support and evaluation of NVR's land acquisition function + Review and analyze financial returns, product costing, abd pricing related to both new and existing land projects + Recommend process, policy, and procedural improvements across operational areas as a result of your analyses + Oversee new project feasibility analysis + Prepare revenue, profit, asset projections and both annual and long-range business plans + Actively provide ad hoc analysis as requested Qualifications + 5+ years professional experience in planning, financial analysis, or public accounting + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field; Master's degree and/or CPA strongly preferred + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel + Excellent oral and written communication + Strategic thinking and persuasive skills + "Big Four", large manufacturing, or real estate experience is a plus Life at NVR As the parent company of Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes, NVR is committed to your success and we will give you the tools, training, and industry knowledge you need to excel and thrive.
