We are searching for the best talent for Finance Business Partner Analyst to be in Bogotá, Colombia.
Purpose:
Providing financial analysis to assist the finance business partner and business unit team in making informed and effective decisions. Contributing to the financial and operational success of the business unit by providing accurate financial information, meaningful analysis, and informed strategic recommendations.
You will be responsible for:
+ Preparation of regular and ad hoc financial reports for the finance business partner and other relevant stakeholders. These reports may include trend analysis, budget variances, key financial performance metrics, among others.
+ P&L analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis of the business unit's P&L statements, examining revenue streams (Actively participating in the gross to net analysis), cost structures, and profitability drivers to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
+ Profitability-driven decision-making: Utilize P&L insights and financial modelling techniques to support decision-making processes aimed at enhancing profitability. This includes support the assessing the financial viability of new projects or initiatives, conducting scenario analysis, and recommending optimal courses of action based on their potential impact on profitability.
+ Strategic planning and forecasting: Collaborate in developing strategic plans and financial forecasts, integrating P&L analysis and financial modelling to align business objectives with financial targets. Provide input on revenue projections, expense management strategies, and investment priorities to drive sustainable profitability.
+ Communication of financial insights: Communicate findings from P&L analysis and financial modelling to key stakeholders. Highlight implications for profitability and articulate recommendations for strategic actions to maximize financial performance.
+ Continuous improvement initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance P&L analysis capabilities and financial modelling techniques within the business unit.
**Qualifications**
+ It is a plus to have previous experience in FP&A or BUF teams and with systems such as SAP/TM1 (ERP).
+ Strong Analytical & conceptual skills and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
+ Clear and effective communication: Ability to communicate financial information clearly and understandably to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as to collaborate effectively with different teams and levels within the organization.
+ Problem-solving skills: Aptitude to identify financial issues, ask relevant questions, and develop effective and creative solutions to address them.
+ Strategic thinking: Ability to understand the big picture and contribute strategic insights that support the financial and business objectives of the company.
+ Time management and organization: Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize work effectively, and meet established deadlines.
+ Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and departments within the organisation, as well as to work independently when necessary.
