Finance Controller Job Description What is the job about? Financial Controller contributes to the Finance organization with a high degree of financial/accounting/system insight. This role requires subject matter expert knowledge in finance and accounting with a high degree of technical and business insight, in the Grundfos entities assigned to Financial Controller. Your main responsibilities: • Perform timely and mannerly month end closing, reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports • Be first contact of point on financial matters in the assigned entity/entities • To control the efficiency and proper using of the company assets • To be responsible for the financial compliance with applicable state regulations. • To review balance sheets for accuracy and completeness , manage the monthly BS account reconciliations • To implement all obligatory payments to the State budget properly and in time. • Response on State Authority requests • "ICO payments+ international payments: creation of act of provided services according to the local legislation. Communication with bank when necessary. • Dividends tax calculation, communication regarding certificate of residency • Control of currency revaluation according to National Standards in both books (group and local) • Creating manual payment tickets for salary, taxes, compensation for daily expenses, refund of client prepayments, postings in SAP for manual payments • Participation in local and/or group audits, local management report preparation • Point of contact for legal matters • Verification, analysis and explanation of group reporting (P&L, BS), interaction with Grundfos Finance Shared Service. Your background We imagine that you have: • Bachelor degree (finance sphere) • Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience • Intermediate English • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and SAP preferably • Knowledge of accounting legislation • Tax and Labor Codes • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Effective oral and written communications • Hands-on doer with focus on the details • Ability to multi-task, ability to work under pressure • Cost conscious, honest • Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities • Ability to be a team player. Teamwork, excellent business acumen and independent judgment is required • Ability to accept rejection and constructive criticism with professionalism and open mindless, flexibility • Professional dress at all corporate functions • Self-motivated • Have good listening skills and ability to value other opinion • Since this position will be covering (but not limited) Ukraine, candidates with Ukrainian knowledge and/or experience with Ukrainian Accounting systems will have a nig advantage.
