The Role
We are seeking an organised and data systems-proficient Finance Coordinator to support our Property Maintenance division based in Dunedin.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager for this client contract, you’ll play a key role in supporting core financial operations, ensuring accuracy in transaction processing, and assisting with reporting and data integrity.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across the business and help maintain financial records, support accounts payable and receivable functions, and coordinate purchase orders. The role also provides opportunities to grow your finance skillset in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support AP/AR functions and manage purchase order processing Assist with monthly reporting, reconciliations, and general finance administration Work with large data sets to ensure data accuracy and integrity Provide support to the Finance Manager and liaise across the business to resolve queries Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and documentation Build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendorsAbout You
Previous experience in a finance function as a Finance Administrator or Coordinator Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes Proficient with Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling large data sets Strong systems skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities Exposure to MYOB and/or Xero highly desirable Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal communication skills Enthusiastic about learning and growing within a finance-focused environmentWhy Join BGIS?
