Your Role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance for SLS, you will provide actionable insights, implement growth initiatives, and mitigate risks to sustainably deliver growth above market while expanding margins. As a member of the Biology leadership operating committee, you will serve as a strategic and operational thought partner to the business with a strong focus on value creation. Leading a team of two analysts, you will drive a culture of performance and continuous improvement, shape operational strategies and execution that align with short-term and long-term objectives. You will lead the strategic planning process for the business, support partnerships and alliances, implement initiatives to accelerate sales, optimize profit and drive efficiencies. You will champion finance priorities, integrate a recent acquisition, and elevate finance’s role in strategic decision-making.
This role is responsible for managing the full P&L and cash flow conversion for the global Biology business. Key financial goals include organic revenue growth above market growth, trade margins, price realization, optimizing manufacturing capacity/global footprint, capex, managing inventory targets, portfolio/sku rationalization, R&D effectiveness (vitality score, R&D leverage), and EBITDA margin expansion.
Who You Are:
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with an MBA required.10+ years of experience in a wide variety of finance roles of increasing scope and responsibility.2+ years of direct experience supporting a business or division with P&L responsibilityWorking knowledge and experience in manufacturing/cost accounting. Possess strong leadership qualities, including effective executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Data and systems savvyHigh intellectual capacity to analyze complex information, derive analytical insights, anticipate trends, and develop actionable recommendations.Results-driven, with tenacity, flexibility, and the ability to deliver under pressure and with changing priorities through both individual and team efforts.Demonstrate agility in balancing day-to-day business partnering responsibilities while advancing finance-focused priorities and initiatives.Excel at influencing, navigating complex organizational dynamics, effectively communicating with executive stakeholders, challenging the status quo, and leading change initiatives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
