MAU is hiring a Finance Director for GF Casting Solutions in Augusta, GA. As a Finance Director, you will manage financial planning, cost control, inventory, compliance, and reporting while providing strategic insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package 401k matching Health insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays Paid vacation Shift Information Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred 7+ years of experience in finance roles within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in financial leadership General Requirements In-depth knowledge of regulatory accounting requirements, US-GAAP, and financial and local tax reporting best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for transforming complex data into actionable insights Proficient with ERP systems (SAP experience highly desirable) and data analytics tools tailored to manufacturing Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing collaboration within teams Essential Functions Lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for manufacturing operations Oversee capital expenditure, cash flow, and financing, ensuring alignment with Treasury and Divisional Controlling Monitor manufacturing costs, identify trends, and implement cost-control measures Provide financial insights to drive decision-making and improve profitability Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accurate financial reporting Collaborate with local management to enhance productivity and efficiency Maintain company accounts, sub-legers, and internal control systems Ensure compliance with local and US government regulations, including tax accounting Coordinate with external and internal auditors and prepare the required reports Working Conditions Primarily office-based with extended periods of sitting for desk work. Occasional standing, walking, or movement within a manufacturing environment may include exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and fluctuating temperatures.
