Job Description

About the role:

In this role you will be the Finance Partner to a Division of our Banking Solutions segment working directly with Sr. Leadership driving YOY Growth and Budget Achievement. 

What you will be doing:

Lead a team to assist in performing technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance to aid in Forecasting/Budgeting/LRP

Consolidate businesses within Division to report out at a Consolidated view

Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, capital investments, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.

Work with matrix partners to assist in structure of complex new sales deals

Lead prep for business line reviews

Meet with organizational unit/department managers to discuss and establish timelines and methodologies for completing budgets.

Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.

Track revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, comparing actual to forecasted figures and make necessary adjustments.  Reviewing results monthly with business and team.

Perform economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Prepare and lead reviews of reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Typically requires ten plus years of financial management experience.

Requires strong management skills

Requires strong organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills

Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence

Requires extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application in a large, diverse organization Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues

Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills

Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations

Ability to design, document and implement process improvements

Strong system management/control experience
