 Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Finance Director for Supply Chain, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The Supply Chain Finance Director is responsible for creating and implementing financial plans that align with the overall business strategy. This includes forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to identify areas of improvement in Supply chain.  By partnering with the Business Segment Supply Chain Vice President, the Supply Chain Finance Director is responsible for driving performance on key cost and productivity metrics, including material and logistic costs and efficiency, working capital and inventory management, and total cost of ownership along the entire supply chain. Through analysis and recommendations, this role will have a meaningful impact on business performance, and over time will establish standard processes, and strengthen financial internal controls. The Supply Chain Finance Director will work with the supply chain teams and across functions within manufacturing and global finance to shape strategic decisions.

What You Will Be Doing 

Financial Tools & Analysis:  Provide financial data, tools, and analysis to help supply chain make informed decisions and plans aligned with the overall business strategy; develop tool to evaluate total cost of ownership to inform sourcing decisions.Strategic decision-making: Provide financial insights to shape and support strategic decision-making, in partnership with supply chain teams; play a key role in supply planning, material pricing and forecasting, vendor contracting and sourcing. Partner with the supply chain and manufacturing organization to track inventory initiatives to improve inventory turns and cash flow by creating relevant metrics, action plans, assist in identifying opportunities and driving actions to achieve targets.Financial Reporting: Ensure all financial reporting is accurate and actionable, and in compliance with regulatory requirements to drive accountability and track progress to goals; demonstrating ownership in inventory, logistics, COGs financial planning and productivity metrics.Collaboration and Influence: Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Global Finance; develop relationships based on credibility to influence decisionsRisk management: Responsible for identifying and assessing financial risks that could impact the organization and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.Team management: Responsible for managing direct reports and ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business goals. This includes overseeing the hiring, training, and development of finance professionals, and creating a high performing team. 

What We Are Looking For 

Bachelors Degree in Business (preferably in Accounting or Finance)CPA or MBA requiredSuccessful candidates typically have 5+ years of financial leadership experience and 7-10 years of experience in a supply chain finance role or similar role within manufacturing.

Financial analysis: Successful candidates should possess strong analytical skills to analyze complex financial data and identify trends and patterns.Strategic thinking: They should possess the ability to think strategically and develop effective financial strategies to drive business growth.Accounting knowledge: A strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting contract manufacturing, logistics, inventory and procurement is essential.Financial reporting: They should be able to prepare accurate and timely financial reports to provide actionable insights into the company's financial performance.Budgeting and forecasting: They should be able to develop and manage budgets and forecasts, track inventory initiatives to improve inventory turns and cash flow by creating relevant metrics and action plans and assist in identifying opportunities and driving actions to achieve targets.Risk management: They should be able to identify and manage financial risks to minimize the impact of potential losses.Leadership: They should possess strong leadership skills to manage and motivate, coach and develop a team of finance professionals.Communication and Influence: Successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication and influence skills working with a variety of stakeholders across the organization.Technology proficiency: They should be comfortable with using financial software and technology to manage financial operations, such as Power BI or other business reporting tools.Business acumen: The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the company's business operations; how financial decisions impact the overall performance of the organization. In addition, they will demonstrate knowledge of key supply chain levers and metrics.
