Finance ERP Manager- Inventory, Vendor Income & Pricing

You’ll do this by designing, configuring, and validating ERP system workflows, controls, and reporting capabilities. Led by the Director, ERP – Finance, this opportunity will best suit someone who has excellent accounting and communication skills, plus hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Here’s how:  Develop a deep expertise in Home Hardware’s inventory management, vendor income, pricing, and costing processes, understanding current-state operations and Finance requirements.Act as the Finance lead for inventory and cost management throughout the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation, ensuring successful design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, IT, Finance, and the external system integrator to align inventory, vendor income, pricing, and costing processes with best practices and business needs.Assist in data migration efforts, supporting extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation of historical inventory and pricing data from legacy systems.Support and execute comprehensive testing, including test case development and user acceptance testing (UAT) for inventory transactions, integrations, and reporting.Assist in designing Finance workflows, ensuring accurate costing methods, inventory valuation, and financial reconciliations are embedded in the ERP solution.Support the development of training materials, SOPs, and user guides, leveraging project learnings to enable a smooth transition for Finance end-users.Champion change management efforts, proactively addressing adoption challenges, supporting Finance users pre and post-implementation.  We’re looking for: Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience. CPA is considered an asset.Strong understanding of, and ability to apply, Canadian accounting principles with expertise in inventory valuation and costing methodologies.Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.Process and detail orientation with experience identifying and implementing Finance process improvements.Data analysis and reconciliation skills, with the ability to validate financial data across systems and identify discrepancies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and translate Finance needs into system requirements.Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of navigating complexity and driving practical solutions.
