Responsibilities:
Performing the reconciliation and close process for Blackstone investment vehicles that invest directly in residential mortgage loans and residential mortgage-backed securitiesOverseeing the monthly/quarterly NAV process, investigating and resolving discrepancies with administrators, reviewing the work of an offshore team, and liaising with various internal teams to review and enhance internal and external reporting Preparing and/or reviewing expense allocations and paymentsPreparing and/or reviewing capital calls and distributionMaintaining accounting related data (capital, expenses, P&L) in internal systemsCoordinating debt service payments on financing facilitiesPreparing and/or reviewing fund forecasts, performance summaries, attributions and other ad-hoc projectsAssisting in the preparation of investor statements, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and internal reportingCoordinating with external auditors for the year-end audit processDeveloping and enhancing internal systems and processes to support the growing residential mortgage investment businessQualifications:
4+ years of public accounting, fund, or administrator experienceBS (or above) in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferredOutstanding attention to detail and accuracy, including commitment to excellence in work productStrong desire to learn and collaborative team playerIndependent worker / proactive self-starterHighly organizedPossesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a positive attitudeEffective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalStrong time management and multi-tasking skillsAdvanced Excel skills required

Expected annual base salary range:
$105,000 - $140,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
