The Finance Enterprise Center of Excellence (eCoE) focusses on three areas delivering a high-level of financial expertise, innovative insights, and an entrepreneurial mindset that enables agility and flexibility for stakeholders. The eCoE is a talent engine for Finance through capability building and network building. There are three focus areas within eCoE: Financial Backbone, Digital Innovation and Analytics and Insights

We are looking for individuals who display the Finance Mindset & Behaviors, and support a living organism that leverages the business knowledge and financial expertise of the network to deliver exceptional results for Finance and Roche. Team members partner with RSS, FEPs and the Business to deliver many of Finance's core processes and deliverables while also driving process scaling, simplification and harmonization, as well as progressing our digital ambition.

The Opportunity:

To further strengthen our network, we are looking for candidates who will sharpen our Finance Analytics & Insights Engine for Informatics. In this role, you will be part of the Group Functions Finance (GFF) community within the eCoE and you will focus on the following activities as part of a team:
 

You drive l analytics and insights enabling transparency on actuals, forecasting, trends and opportunities to articulate an impactful financial story

You work in strong partnerships and collaborate closely with the FEPs to make an impact in line with the Informatics business priorities

You lead the implementation of scalable solutions and continuously identify opportunities to simplifying processes, leverage digital and leverage synergies with other teams (e.g. RSS)

You deliver end-to-end analytics and insights in a “one team” partnership across Informatics Finance rather than in a service delivery mode, and as part of a living and evolving “organism”

You contribute to the end-to-end month-end closing and the financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities for Informatics as part of Group Functions (Informatics, P&C, Finance, Legal, Global Procurement, and Basel Site)

You play a critical role in orchestrating end-to-end processes, from accruals to variance analysis, across all parties involved (Finance, Informatics, Procurement, RSS)

You contribute to the definition and implementation of digital solutions (e.g. automatization, dash-boards, etc.) to improve end-to-end processes and generate efficiency gains

Who you are:

You will bring a strong finance technical expertise together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. You will be a catalyst for future Finance transformations and work effectively as an influencer, and leaning in as coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. You have a passion to pilot new approaches and constructively challenge the status quo while being able to operate in a rapidly evolving environment that can have some ambiguity.

5-7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with a minimum Bachelor’s Degree or related experience

Ability to navigate a dynamic environment and global settings and work across various systems

Strong foundational finance expertise and the ability to flex between attention to details and big picture/enterprise thinking

Strong analytical skills ability to handle large dataset

Strong and tool mastery including: SAP, SAC, Excel and gSuite, and

Ability to articulate and visualize a financial story in an impactful manner and ability to summarize complex data in a simple and convincing storyline

Demonstrated strong experience in collaborating, supporting, and influencing a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders
