Job Purpose:

Prepares basic financial reports under direct supervision. Assists in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger. 

Major Responsibilities:

Prepares, reviews, and adjusts journal entriesPerforms reconciliations of balance sheet accountsParticipates in Department Efficiency Teams including re-engineering and automation of accounting processesPerform analytics on financial information with objective of ensuring information qualityReports the company’s finances to management, offering suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.Maintenance of fixed assets – property additions and disposals; personal, real estate and right of use assets

Experience & Requirements

Candidates should be in process of earning Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in AccountingFamiliarity with US GAAP and IFRS CodificationExperience with MS Office products and accounting software preferred.Action oriented, good time management, listening, integrity
