This is a paid Summer 2025 Internship. This is a temporary, full-time internship. Candidates must be able to commit to a 10 week program in Washington DC.
Compensation: $20 - $24/ hour
Team & Position Details:
You will be responsible for assisting our Senior Financial Analyst with internal operations focused on analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and maintaining records. You will learn how we partner with all departments internal to Virtru to make sure we are operating efficiently. In this role you will work closely with our Accounting, Revenue and Business Operations teams.
As a Finance Intern, your responsibilities will include:
Update and maintain financial model for Virtru Report monthly financial results against budgets and forecasts to Finance and Business unit leaders Prepare analyses supporting strategic business plans and initiatives by utilizing and building detailed and dynamic financial models Develop means to effectively measure, track, and report on KPIs for the business Prepare financial components of executive level business reviews Manage ad hoc financial analyses based on business demand Assist with preparation of annual budget, monthly forecasts, and strategic planning models Improve the accuracy of Virtru’s forward looking financial model, focusing on improved predictability of revenues, expenses and cashflows Use technologies such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Tableau, Ramp, Google G Suite, Microsoft ExcelSkills that will help you thrive in this role:

In the Internship Cohort, you will be managed by your internship coordinator and HR advocate, Bella. Organized events, such as games nights, career workshops, and speaker series sessions are planned and executed specifically for interns.
As an important team member of Virtru, you will be included in company-wide meetings and events, including one-on-one sessions with your department’s executive leader (giving you a peek as to what it’s like working with us full-time)!. You will gain real-world, hands-on learning and contribute to critical elements of an enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) business. You will be joining a highly collaborative company, with the opportunity to reach out to anyone for questions, with a summer mentor and HR advocate to assist you with internal networking!
