As a Finance Intern at Broadridge, you will contribute to our mission by providing essential financial insights and support. This entry-level role is designed to help you develop your skills and knowledge by performing structured financial assignments and collaborating with experienced professionals. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analyzing data, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Summarize current financial status by collecting data and preparing reports, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.

Provide strategic advice and financial support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Assist in developing and implementing effective policies, procedures, and controls related to GAAP compliance, cash management, tax compliance, and corporate reporting.

Collaborate with the team to manage and coordinate external financial reporting and investor relations.

Solve routine financial problems using established procedures and perform structured work assignments to develop foundational expertise.

Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding when working with teammates and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Foundational understanding of financial and accounting principles, including GAAP.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Effective communication skills for exchanging information and sharing insights.

Ability to follow standard processes and balance deadlines with accuracy.
