As Finance Intern, you will work directly with our team to ensure the integrity of financial data by reviewing product and customer-level margins and identifying potential anomalies. You will collaborate with corporate and divisional finance teams to determine investigation thresholds, flag discrepancies, and communicate findings. Additionally, you will document anomalies, track resolution efforts, and support broader finance and accounting projects as needed. **Pay Rate:** $20 - $25/hr. depending on education and experience **Location:** Remote **Responsibilities:** + Analyze product and customer-level margin data using Power BI to find potential anomalies. + Collaborate with the finance team to establish thresholds for investigation. + Communicate flagged discrepancies to local and corporate finance teams for further analysis. + Document investigation processes including causes for discrepancies and corrective actions. + Support the review of Power BI financial datasets. + Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and special projects as assigned. **Benefits:** + Hands-on experience in various finance and accounting functions. + Mentorship and guidance from experienced finance professionals. + Networking opportunities within the industry. + Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications. **Requirements:** + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related field. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes and propose efficient solutions. + Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
