Job Description

The Finance/Accounting Intern, reporting to the Finance Director, will be part of the Flow Systems Finance team. The intern will be responsible for supporting month end close processes, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance to Zurn Elkay policies and procedures.

The Internship will be located in our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.

Key Accountabilities

Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process including preparing and posting key journal entries and account reconciliations.

Help prepare and distribute weekly Ops productivity reporting.

Assist in the maintenance and adherence to internal controls under SOX and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP, including CAPEX validation work.

Assist with other ad hoc accounting projects including D365 go-live preparation / validation work.

Help with inventory costing updates in D365 and coding Basware invoices.

Partner with Finance Manager and Flow Systems Ops Team on implementation of a formal cycle count program

Qualifications/Requirements

Pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and macros.

Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer
