Leading, developing and engaging Egypt Finance TeamManage all financial aspects of the commercial operations including actuals, budget and forecastCommunicate financial and accounting information and trends to the Commercial team to ensure that real-time business decisions can be made based on sound financial dataFinancial reporting and controlling in accordance with IFRS and group standards, statutory reporting (IFRS translation)Liaising and coordinating with external and internal auditEnsure compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes.Liquidity managementIntercompany-Coordination and support of Group controlling in internal & external reportingPromotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrityAct as Egypt TFCM, interacts with customers.

Required to interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices on a regular basisEnsure full compliance of TFCM processes as implemented (incl. Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities
Critical experience
12 - 15 years professional experience and at least 2 years in similar position. Understanding and effective communication of TFCM policies and procedures to non-financial staffGood working knowledge of the local market environmentGood understanding of Microsoft office productsFamiliar with working in a complex matrix and international environmentAccounting QualificationCritical knowledge
Thorough understanding of financial statements and key ratios, and their meanings to creditworthiness of customersUnderstanding of risk mitigation tools in the countryKnowledge of the country’s economics, Syngenta’s customer base, and the general business environmentGood knowledge of the company’s ERP systems, ability to manage the required steps for an effective credit management.Critical leadership capabilities
