AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support AWS Applications, which are some of our newest and coolest services enabling corporate knowledge workers. This role offers a direct business partnership support for some of the most exciting new as well as evolved services in the productivity applications portfolio. This position will work closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive product/service pricing, cost and capital expenditure optimization, financial planning, decision support, and controllership.
Key job responsibilities
As a Finance Manager, you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and features
- Full P&L ownership of all services and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and improve free cash flow
- Influencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protection
- Managing projects that significantly impact the business including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations
- Leading the OP1/2, 3YF, and R&O planning processes including continuously evolving the forecasting approach to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers and narratives to senior leadership
- Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews
