Finance Manager, Credit & Collections
Job Description

Reporting to the Global Credit and Collections Manager, the Finance Manager, Credit & Collections role is responsible for driving effective collections strategies for the assigned business segment. Monitor and appropriately manage the performance of the respective collections team. This position requires working closely with various teams in the organization – Customer Service, Sales, and Business Finance – to improve the cash and past due position of GRACE. 

Key Responsibilities  Defines and implements effective collection strategies to ensure SLA and KPI targets are met  Leads day-to-day operations which include but not limited to accounts maintenance, escalations management, issue resolution, and reporting as required Collaborates closely and regularly with business segment leaders, sales, and customer service teams to facilitate timely payment of receivables Works closely with cash applications team to ensure that customer payments are applied accordingly – resolving disputed items, unapplied cash postings, and over/short payments Provides guidance on customer balances for quarterly bad debt reserve analysis Responsible for managing team’s performance, people development, and succession planning Supports the team as first level of escalation, ensures solid back-up system, and other administrative tasks that may be required Seeks opportunities for Continuous Improvement and ensures team’s compliance to Internal Controls  Supports the Global Credit and Collections Manager to drive effective process governance, stakeholder management, and project management (as required) Supports the various sitewide initiatives of Grace GBS Manila   Required Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a similar discipline 5+ years of collections experience 3+ years of leading a collections team Experience in Shared Services preferably with multinational companies SAP & BW experience required Strong leadership skills Effective communication and influencing skills Knowledge on customer operations / order management process preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel, Willing to work on North America hours   Benefits Guaranteed 14th month Pay Above-market Retirement Plan Design LinkedIn Learning Access Established Performance Incentive Program HMO coverage for employees on day 1 (with pandemic coverage) Free HMO coverage for up to 3 qualified dependents Educational Assistance
