Amazon is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst within Procurement Finance to define, create, analyze and influence the Global Procurement Excellence Organization.

You will work directly with your business partner to define, develop, and implement strategies related to the Source to Pay, Value Engineering and Analytics. This role involves collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports that aligns with Amazon’s long-term needs. This role will have material impact and high visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will require interactions with Directors and Senior Managers within Operations and Finance across numerous regions. This role requires global collaboration across the WW Operations business and finance organizations. Ability to manage expectations of our leadership team, our stakeholders, customers, as well as members of your finance team is paramount.

Key job responsibilities
- Identifying opportunities and driving standardization through Procurement finance objectives.
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Work with data providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
- Provide financial support for the Source to Pay (S2P) operations influencing policy, processes, and digital products.
- Ensure accurate financial information for the procurement organization and partner with the business to provide all business related information within the procurement space.

About the team
The Global Procurement Finance team is the business partner for the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) and focuses to continuously improve the scalability and efficiency of the procurement organization. GPO is responsible for the source to pay process for non-inventory goods and services needed to facilitate Amazon’s supply chain. This team serves as a key strategic partner to GPO, accounting, and other business unit finance partners to deliver on strategic category initiatives.
