Our pioneering technology spans the world of healthcare operations — with medical diagnostic instruments, tests, automation, and informatics solutions for hospitals, reference labs, blood centers, emergency departments, physician offices, and clinics. **The Opportunity** We have an exciting opportunity for a **Finance Manager** within our Abbott Rapid **Diagnostics business** **located** **in Lake Forest, IL.** **What** **You’ll** **Do** + Oversee financial planning and reporting for the Infectious Disease (ID) business unit headquarters functions. + Partner with Global Marketing for ad hoc business analytics. + Lead the annual Organic Execution Model process within the business unit. + Develop and implement financial process improvements and standardization across the business unit. + Create relevant and insightful financial metrics for ID leadership. + Prepare the monthly management reporting package. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING** **Required:** + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. + Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting. + Excellent communication and analytical skills. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines. + Sharp attention to detail. + Proactive problem solver with a knack for streamlining processes. + Comfortable with complexity and change. + High level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; Power ON skills is a plus.
