We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Manager for our South Carolina Head Start facilities. The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to Accounting/Finance, and financial administration of Federal and State granting sources. The position aids in the review and analysis of multiple funding sources and expense allocations, and budget monitoring to actual expenses for all contracts. The Finance Manager will participate in financial audits, program reviews, and various general Accounting/Finance tasks.
What You’ll Work On
• Participates in the preparation and review of vouchers, which includes processing invoices for payment and inputting data into the Accounting System software
• Payment processing and reconciliation
• Monthly employee expense review and processing
• Prepare and file quarterly taxes
• Payroll processing
• In collaboration with Director of Finance work to meet contractual requirements and deliverables as required by state contracts
• Periodic contract reviews and financial audits
• Manage expense allocations
• Support preparation and submittal of budgets to contracted funding sources
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with assigned department personnel. Including the following responsibilities, but are not limited to hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and the completion of all work performed by direct reports
• Represent the team and/or department at meetings, events, and training as required
About You (Requirements/Competencies)
• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum three (3) years related work experience in a general accounting department, required
• Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
• Travel required locally for work and work-related meetings and functions.

Salary: $75,000 Annually + Comprehensive Benefits Package
