Summary
The Finance Manager serves as a trusted advisor to the Chief Marketing Officer and the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances, as well as their respective leadership teams. This role involves proactive collaboration, strategic influence, and alignment of the company's planning processes to support the overall corporate strategy and drive accelerated growth. Utilizing a data-driven approach, the Finance Manager measures performance through financial and operational KPIs, delivering comprehensive financial reporting, insightful analysis, and business-oriented recommendations
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership across the Marketing and Strategic Alliances functions to drive strategy, decision-making, and execution, as well as enhanced visibility and predictable financial results via key insights, growth drivers, and metrics. Develop consistent, scalable frameworks and processes for translating strategy into measurable topline planning targets, aligned incentives, and associated resource allocations over short- and long-term time horizons. Collaborate with ops teams across Marketing and Alliances to analyze and forecast key top-line metrics including pipeline, bookings / revenue / billings, and related commissions. Assist in development of formalized market expansion strategy and playbook; collaborate to document and share operational best practices across geos, regions, and countries. Lead monthly / quarterly forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting of key operational results and metrics via OKRs, BvAs, QBRs, etc. Initiate, conduct and translate detailed, unstructured analyses into clear, data-driven storylines and actionable insights and proposals. Attract, manage, develop, and retain a growing team of rising finance professionals in service of corporate priorities, functional business partner goals, and individual career objectives. Assist with Ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline. 5-8 years of progressive finance experience in increasingly expansive roles, ideally within an enterprise SaaS public company environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
An understanding of key business drivers and processes, with the ability to assess, design and implement new processes in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. An aptitude for modeling businesses by identifying key drivers and their impact / relationship to outputs. Experience managing finance organizations, staff, and strategic projects with organization-wide impact. Exceptional communicator with ability to present concepts, recommendations, and analyses to executive team in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Ability to maintain performance and deliver under tight timelines, and a desire to dig into new and complex organizational challenges. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all settings and situations. Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Travel
This position requires less than 5% regular travel.
