Description
We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our team based in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of our finance team, the Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial activities, maintaining financial records, and supporting leaders in decision-making processes. The individual will be actively involved in the tracking of accounts receivable, assisting in audits, and seeking opportunities to implement efficiencies to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and track all related accounts receivable.
• Assist in the completion of audits in a timely manner.
• Keep the Foundation’s financial records updated and accurate.
• Work closely with the Assistant VP of Finance in overseeing financial activities.
• Aid in the execution of monthly closing of the general ledger, which includes bank reconciliations and monthly journal entries.
• Deposit checks and cash received.
• Step in for the Accounts Payable Specialist during extended leaves.
• Streamline the process of receiving and recording student payments, including tuition.
• Submit nutrition claims to the Department of Public Instructions.
• Attend committee meetings when required and prepare meeting minutes.
• Take on ad-hoc projects and reporting tasks as assigned.
Requirements • Proficient in using 3M, Concur, CRM, and Crystal Reports
• Strong knowledge of data mining techniques
• Experience with 'About Time' software
• Proficiency in accounting functions
• Expertise in preparing and managing annual budgets
• Familiarity with auditing processes
• Understanding of budget processes
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting and fund accounting in non-profit sectors
• Experience with month-end close activities, including month-end journal entries and reports
• Familiarity with bi-monthly payroll procedures
• Proficiency in monthly account reconciliation
• Experience with Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage Accounting Software, and Sage Intacct.
