Finance Manager
**Description:** **We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our pre-opening team at Hyatt Place Tallinn.** As Hyatt’s first property in this exciting market, the hotel plays a key role in expanding the brand’s presence and growth in the region. **About the role** The **Finance Manager** will play a pivotal role in the pre-opening phase ensuring robust financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes are established. This leader will work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to drive financial performance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Financial Planning and Analysis:** Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with the management team. + **Oversight:** All accounting, procurement and IT functions. + **Reporting:** Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and performance metrics. + **Accounting:** Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. + **Audits:** Manage audits, both internal and external, ensuring all financial practices meet legal and corporate guidelines. + **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax obligations and industry-specific requirements. + **Operational Support:** Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance revenue generation strategies. Provide financial insights to improve operational performance. + **Team Leadership:** Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. + **Pre-Opening Financial Setup:** Coordinate with Hyatt’s regional finance team to set up general ledger and procurement systems. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. + Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably with at least 3 years in the hospitality industry.. + Pre-Opening experience is an advantage. + Strong knowledge of hotel financial operations, budgeting processes, and forecasting techniques. + Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. + Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Opera, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. + Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving abilities. **Care Connects us at Hyatt - we open doors, we welcome you and we care.** And we offer a great range of benefits, including: + Long term career growth opportunities + A motivated and connected team + 12 complimentary nights (per year) in other Hyatt properties around the world as well as colleague rates and discounts + And a company that truly cares **Discover what’s next.
