The Finance Manager is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Finance Manager is responsible for the analysis and reporting of financial performance across the organization. This position develops and conducts complex financial analyses to support operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Three-Statement Modeling:
Develop and maintain comprehensive three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) to support decision-making and strategic planning.Ensure models are updated regularly with actual financials, forecasts, and strategic changes.Analyze financial trends and variances, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Private Equity Firm Communication:
Serve as a key point of contact for communication with private equity stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on financial performance and strategic initiatives.Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for investor meetings and board reviews.Address and resolve any inquiries or concerns raised by private equity partners.
Joint Ventures:
Analyze and support financial aspects of joint venture agreements, including structuring, valuation, and performance monitoring.Collaborate with internal teams and joint venture partners to align on financial goals and reporting requirements.Evaluate the financial impact of potential joint ventures and provide recommendations.
Long Range Planning:
Assist in the long-range financial planning process, including the development of multi-year financial forecasts and strategic plans.Identify and evaluate key drivers of long-term value creation and risk mitigation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial plans and business strategy.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong emphasis on three-statement modeling.Experience working with private equity firms and understanding of private equity investment structures and reporting.Proven track record in managing joint ventures and complex financial agreements.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, investors, and other stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling platforms, ERP systems).Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory experience strongly preferred
