This role will focus on financial reporting and closing activities, finance compliance, audit and taxation and coordinating with different business units and operations to ensure compliance on accounting process, policies and procedures. 
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Financial Reporting & Closing

Manage monthly, quarterly, and year end closing process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations and accruals.  Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements. Prepare and review financial reports, variance analysis, and management presentations. Coordinate with the Shared Services team to ensure seamless reporting processes.

Compliance, Audit & Taxation

Manage internal and external audits, working closely with Business Units and auditors, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit findings. Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all financial regulations. Review quarterly GST return and ensure compliance with GST regulations.  Drive the ACAP renewal process and post ACAP Review.

Business Partnering 

Provide guidance to Business Units and operations for accounting processes, GST and withholding tax requirements. Work closely and provide guidance to Shared Services team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Participate in automation and process Improvement projects as required.    Who You Are:

  For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline with professional qualifications (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) At least 10 years relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a large organization Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and GST regulations Proficient in Oracle, FCCS and strong knowledge in Excel. 
   Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience working with Shared Services and able to lead a team Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
