The Manager Dairy Retail position is responsible for leading a team of commercial financial analyst professionals in evaluating new business opportunities, ensuring customer contract compliance, and enabling the overall financial success of Saputo with Dairy Retail customers.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter…
Key business responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead a team of analysts.
Provide financial leadership for the Dairy Retail channel.
Supervise the creation of all new business opportunity evaluations within the Dairy Retail channel.
Lead the evaluation of certain strategic new business opportunities by coordinating a cross functional team, which may include senior leadership, to determine the optimal pricing structure to offer to customers that maximizing profit while securing the business.
Develop tools and techniques to monitor, analyze, identify and communicate customer margin issues and actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with all financial aspects of customer contracts within the Dairy Retail channel, creating the necessary monitoring tools, and engaging appropriate members of the organization at the correct times to ensure adequate compliance.
Maintain a complete understanding of the customer specific requirements ensuring all aspects are considered and communicated in an accurate and timely manner.
Vigorously seek out opportunities to simplify and automate business processes.
Champion Saputo led efforts to align processes within and across channels to enable transparency and consistency of results.
Lead or participate in customer pricing calls demonstrating dairy knowledge and its application on price and cost.
Power user / subject matter expert of the tools in the department.
Provide ad hoc reporting to Senior Management to support their decision-making process.
Perform other related duties as required.
Work closely with the sales organizations, customers, and other members of the corporate organization, as needed, to resolve price discrepancies.
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have…
Education—Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or some similar discipline. An advanced degree or professional qualifications is a plus.
Experience—5+ years’ finance experience in consumer-packaged goods or similar industry. Minimum people management experience of 2-3 years.

Candidate should have experience in leading high preforming teams,
Strong understanding of market movements, pricing and overall financial analysis/levers, critical reasoning/thinking, problem solving, project management and cross-functional collaboration/influencing skills.
Have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, are fact-based.
Have quantitative analysis experience with an emphasis on pricing administration.
Have computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access). SAP experience preferred.
Are a leader who can influence across multiple functions, disciplines, and within own team.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills to assist in translating data insights for understanding.

Salary Range: $87,510 to $114,855
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
