We will consider candidates from Bristol and surrounding areas but you will have to be willing to travel to either Warminster or Andover on a bi-monthly basis.
The role
As a Finance Manager-Contract Reporting, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a reporting position, and due to us winning a contract extension of 5 years, we are looking to develop new models and ways of working. Reporting to group and being solely in charge of the P&L, you’ll be working with the site finance managers to pull together forecasting packs, putting month end results together, working methodically and logically and you’ll need to have great attention to detail in this diverse and ever-changing role.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
Work on the consolidation of reporting on behalf of the DSG Contract including EAC, monthly accounts, Quarterly Contract packs, budgets, forecasts and strategic plans Support identified continuous improvement projects on behalf of the Finance function Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the services provided ensuring engagement with individuals who can validate and progress those opportunities Contract month-end, budgets, forecasts and strategic plan BPC template for submission to centralised FP&A team Work on the production of timely and technically accurate contract based Contract budget, forecast and strategic plan reports and presentations for the Business Facing Finance Director including liaison with Business Unit finance stakeholders
This role is full time, 37 hour per week and provides hybrid working arrangements. You’ll have the ability to work from home most of your week but will be required to travel to site bi-monthly.

Experience of the Finance Manager-Contract Reporting
Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review Ability to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved or surpassed Ability to maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards in respect to Financial Reporting Experience of Finance IT ERP applications e.g. (SAP, NAV (Navision, IFS etc.) Experience in the use of Microsoft Office 2010 suite of applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Outlook Experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Power BI – Advantageous
Qualifications for the Finance Manager-Contract Reporting
Recognised professional qualification – (CIMA, ACA , ACCA or other)
