Finance Manager (Controllership & FP&A) Job ID 200583 Posted 01-Jan-2025 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Hong Kong - Hong Kong **About the Role:** This job is both of the Controlling job function and FP&A function. They are responsible for the Management of the organization's financial controls and the preparation of financial reports for management and shareholders as well the short and long-term financial planning and analysis of business operations. **What You’ll Do:** + Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications. + Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Check transactions from the subsystem to ensure data is accurately sent. + Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and fundamentals. + Evaluate various complex accounting variances, reports, and records. Make recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures. + Present routine and adhoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses to management. + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned. + Answer escalated questions regarding various accounting issues and reports. + Work with the business team to ensure compliance to internal and external requirements. + Support both internal and external audits. + Oversee the monthly and quarterly review of subsegment results including P&L, capital, KPIs, CAPEX and spending based on performance targets and objectives, providing commentaries. + Manage the annual budget process from the facilitation of data collection to eventual review and evaulation of P&Ls. + Oversee monthly and quarterly forecasting and strategic planning processes. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. + Experience with project accounting and project management business is a plus. + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
