Finance Manager - Europe

Wood are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our EMEA Regional Finance Team within the Consulting business with a focus on managing all aspects of accounting for the Europe region.

This position can be based from any of our UK or Irish offices on a hybrid basis.

The Role 

As a key member of the EMEA Regional Finance Consulting Team, this role is pivotal in driving excellence in project accounting, financial reporting and governance across the region. The Finance Manager for Europe will be a strategic business partner fostering collaboration with operational leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis and performance insight. This involves the provision of timely reporting of financial data internally to business stakeholders and externally. 

Furthermore, financial reporting will extend to forecasts, budgets and a “no surprises” outlook, together with ad-hoc financial analysis.  

As the Finance Manager you will manage a team and be responsible for their development and workload management. You will also be the escalation point for all financial matters relating to the Europe consulting business, ensuring your team are fully supported and always empowered. 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Lead / Manager, with excellent communication, business partnering and leadership skills to take a lead in driving sustainable working capital improvements.
