Finance Manager - Hardware

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to support strategic initiatives and operational excellence. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity, optimize performance, and deliver meaningful insights.

 

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities

·         Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes

·         Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts, ensuring they reflect the latest data, identify trends, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to improve accuracy and control spending

·         Analyze and review financial models to support business planning to ensure business justification and budget containment

·         Provide variance analysis and performance metrics to inform decision-making

·         Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations

·         Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to understand financial impact and cost drivers

·         Manage workload amongst the Hardware Finance team to ensure deadlines are met for ad hoc and standardized reporting requests.  Mentor and develop team members to meet the needs of the business and promote professional growth

·         Maintain compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls

·         Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within financial operations

 

Education and Experience Profile

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field.  MBA or CPA preferred.

·         7-10 years finance and accounting experience.

 

Required Skills

·         Exceptional communication skills, written and oral, speaks English proficiently.

·         Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; listens and gets clarification.  Responds well to questions; participate and present information in meetings.

·         Broad knowledge of principles and practices of Commercial Finance.

·         Excellent PC and spreadsheet skills.

·         SAP and Hyperion/Essbase experience is highly desired.

·         Proven success with managing projects that deliver results.

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all functions at ASSA ABLOY Americas Residential.

 

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

 

Pay Range: $130,000 to $150,000.

 

This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
