The Finance Manager – Pacific (Transport & Infrastructure) is responsible for all finance functions for Pacific projects businesses including month-end processing, journals, PB&F, audit, and management reporting processes, and supporting information for Pacific projects.
The Finance Manager – Pacific in the Accounting Services team will support the Head of Accounting Services / Senior Finance Business Partner in their allocated area to ensure alignment between financial operations and LoB strategy while delivering key services provided by the finance functions including:
Assist in building a culture of delivering timely, high quality and consistent financial support Build and maintain relationships through the provision of trusted and trustworthy advice Key liaison point for tax and compliance calculations in each jurisdiction Providing proactive and quality financial and operational support to the aligned LoB Undertaking financial and project tasks to a consistently high standard Analytical and able to probe information and data Suggest & support continuous process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with policy, The Downer Standards and relevant accounting standardsThe role requires you to be a trusted partner and advisor providing support and insights on performance, being analytical, and driving business improvement and decision support. The ability to influence outcomes and manage stakeholders will be the key to success in this role
