What You'll Do As our Finance Manager-Sales/GTM Finance, you will work with our Team to support our Global Sales organization. and will be the primary financial partner to Sales leadership, helping increase growth through analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision support. You'll help align financial planning with Avalara’s revenue goals and operational projects.This is a remote position and will work with a Finance Team and Sales Team that is in multiple countries. You will report to the Finance Director of GTM. What Your Responsibilities Will Be You will partner with Sales leaders to manage annual and monthly bookings targets that align to quotas. You will support budgeting and long-range planning cycles with capacity modeling that will be used to also forecast Headcount and OPEX on monthly basis. Track and improve sales productivity, headcount planning, and resource allocation. Collaborate with RevOps, Sales, and Marketing to ensure understanding of go-to-market strategies and financial goals. Work with Global Analytics Team and Finance team to guide programs to improve processes and reporting. Present financial results, dashboards, and business reviews to Sales and Finance leadership. What You'll Need to be Successful Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field . 7+ years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in SaaS or tech sales finance. Experience with SaaS business models and sales operations. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in tools like Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, or similar. The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Colorado $108,100-$172,900 (annually) Washington $108,100-$190,900 (annually) California $108,100-$209,100 (annually) NYC $130,700-$209,100 (annually) The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
