Vacancy: Finance Officer
We are recruiting for our Finance team supporting our Energy Automation and Systems business within Siemens. We have an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and meaningful environment where you will be responsible for the provision of finance and commercial data, supporting all Operations and Engineering teams, Project Managers, under the mentorship of the Solutions Finance Manager.
Location: This role would allow you to be based at our Manchester or Hebburn (Near Tyne and Wear) office, where you can work in the office for 2 days per week, and the rest remotely. However, travel to the Hebburn office for monthly in-person project reviews is required.
This is your role. What part will you play?
Management of the Finance and Commercial aspects of SI EA Solutions Projects (POC) including:
Supervise and track project costs, revenues, and expenses. Prepare detailed cost reports and financial documents for project customers. Prepare and analyse financial reports, including cash flow, invoicing, and cost-to-complete projections Budgeting, planning and coordinating of forecasts Provide forecasts and projections for project financial performance. Monthly Financial review meeting preparation and presentation Payment Applications, Project Invoicing and assisting the accounts receivable process. Risk register maintenance, ownership and aim to mitigation with key customers Ensuring the governance of NCRs and NCCs is applied appropriately Maintenance and completion of management reporting Ensure that Corporate / Divisional guidelines and controls are optimally deployed to optimise results and minimise risks to the Business Area / Division. Ensure that the Divisional risk management methodology is effectively deployed and that any significant risks/issues within the business are brought to the attention of the Business Area / Divisional management in a professional and timely manner.Use your skills to move the world forward.
Part Qualified CIMA Some shown experience Excellent numerical skills, customer management & relationship skills are a prerequisite Working independently as well as within teams is required.
