Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Palladium
seeks a Finance and Operations, Associate. The main role will be to ensure
organizational effectiveness by providing support on the management in
financial & operational functions.
This
is a full-time position and will be based in Brazil.
The
Finance and Operations, Associate will report to and support the Finance and
Operations Manager.
Primary
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide financial and
administrative support.
Ensure financial records
are accurately maintained.
Process accounts payable
invoices and payment approval.
Prepare accounts
receivable invoices.
Ensure all finances are
managed in alignment with the government regulations, company and client’s
financial policies and procedures.
Support the Manager to
prepare, review budgets, monthly financial reports and expenditure
forecasts.
Ensure applicable tax
withholding and deductions are taken care of as per the Brazilian laws and
regulations on all payments.
Work closely with the
accounting service provider to ensure accurate financial report.
When applicable, assist
with an internal or external audit activity.
Provide support on the
administrative management, subcontractor´s contracting, procurement,
logistics and safe and security aspects.
Perform other duties as
assigned.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree or a
Master’s Degree (desirable), in Accounting, Business Management, Economic,
or other relevant field;
Work experience in
broader finance and administration management, including office
management, HR, finance, IT, and logistics;
Able to communicate
effectively and excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working
relationships at all levels;
High level of computer
literacy (proficiency in MS Excel would be added advantage);
Excellent financial and
analytical skills;
Proven problem
identification and resolution experience with budgeting, forecasting,
banking, tax authorities, foreign currency transactions, and other related
issues;
Ability to deal
appropriately with sensitive issues and maintain a high level of
confidentiality at all times;
Fluency in Portuguese and
English - excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Must be legally
authorized to work in Brazil.
