**The Opportunity**

**About the Team**
The Finance Operations & Transformation function at Nutanix is a newly established leadership role dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization.The mission is to implement transformative initiatives that drive strategic finance projects to completion, supporting the broader goals of the company while addressing gaps and improving processes within the Finance organization.
You will report to the Chief Financial Officer, who emphasizes collaboration and involvement in decision-making while seeking candidates that exhibit executive presence. Her leadership style is characterized by a focus on accountability and fostering a supportive environment where team members feel valued and involved.
**Your Role**
+ Drive cross-functional projects involving finance aspects, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
+ Support the CFO and finance leadership with planning, organization, and execution of key initiatives and meetings.
+ Establish and track OKRs for the Finance team, ensuring alignment and accountability.
+ Foster collaboration across Finance and other departments, addressing unmet needs and enhancing effectiveness.
+ Create and implement training and development programs for the Finance organization, in partnership with HR.
+ Facilitate communication and engagement within the Finance team, including town halls and recognition programs.
+ Lead and manage the Finance transformation team, focusing on systems, processes, and automation enhancements.
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for Finance systems and tools, incorporating GenAI strategies.[
**What You Will Bring**
+ 10+ years of experience, preferably in finance or finance-adjacent roles.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence across multiple organizational levels and teams.
+ Experience with finance transformation initiatives and understanding of finance systems and tools.
+ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a focus on project management.
+ Executive presence and strong communication skills for engaging with leadership teams.
+ Versatility to adapt to diverse tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to create and manage strategic finance initiatives and support organizational goals.
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
**Work Arrangement**
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 245,000 and USD $ 420,500 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
