Abbott’s Financial Professional Development Program (FPDP) prepares college graduates with majors in Accounting and Finance for financial management roles. The goal of the program is to identify and develop Abbott’s future global Finance leaders. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities. Each FPDP member will be assigned to a senior financial leader who will mentor and advise them.
Each FPDP member spends two years in the program, during which time they will complete four different six-month assignments across a variety of Abbott businesses and areas of Finance, such as corporate and division headquarters, manufacturing plants, and other operating environments.
