Interested in helping the team with improvements in financial models, reports, and planning processes? In this role you will learn about Suncor’s key financial planning processes in order to support Financial Analysts and Portfolio Planners across the company.

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree or similar in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or quantitative-related STEM fieldA growth mindset with a demonstrated history of trying different and challenging thingsEager to work with financial models and dataEffective listening skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop expertise in data querying from S4 SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and Azure.Develop expertise in data modeling and reporting, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud, MS Power BI, and MS Power Apps.Maintain master data and actively monitor system performance to troubleshoot issues.Learn about Suncor’s key financial planning processes in order to support Financial Analysts and Portfolio Planners across the company.Help the team implement improvements in financial models, reports, and planning processes.

Location and key Details:

This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to FridayThis position is security sensitive which requires you to clear a criminal history checkOur business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
