Finance Planning & Analysis Manager

Compensation Range: $104,000-$135,000 

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.  

Job Purpose

The FP&A Manager, Energy System’s primary responsibility is the timely preparation of accurate annual budgets, quarterly guidance forecasts, and monthly forecasts. It requires understanding/interpreting actual results against these forecasts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Preparation of Annual Budget; monthly forecasts and Quarterly BOD forecasts and input into HFM Review actual results in detail and explain concisely to forecast/Budget/Prior Year Preparation of monthly ES WW finance deck for Management meetings Support the commercial team with Revenue and Standard Margin analysis Assist with various Quarter and Year end reporting requirements Prepare Market P&Ls for Management and Incentive purposes Track cost center expenses Ensure forecasts follow generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Liase with Corporate Finance Ad hoc requests to support the business Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY SKILLS:
This role requires supervisory and mentoring of two individuals

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  
Minimal

Qualifications CPA or Equivalent Preferred. Experienced FP&A Manager with Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in manufacturing industries. Strong commercial accountant In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, Cost Accounting, and other accounting/reporting requirements. Knowledge of SAP, One Stream, HFM, and other Reporting Systems Knowledge of EDW


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills Strong Excel user; including Pivot tables; Look ups etc Ability to clearly communicate (orally and written) Strong attention to detail Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues of varying skill levels in a matrix environment Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Self-motivated and proactive Able to work independently. General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
