Finance Programs Manager - Cost Management Job ID 202104 Posted 09-Feb-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Finance Programs Manager for Cost Management, you will manage the development and execution of cross-functional programs to drive disciplined cost decisions through increased accountability & governance. This job is part of the Advisory Operations & Strategy team which partners with senior leadership to implement short- and long-term strategic plans, working across business lines and geographies to drive process & program innovations, execute transformation initiatives and enhance strategic governance. **What You’ll Do:** + Oversee hiring, promotions, and other compensation-related approval processes within the Advisory business. Ensure accuracy and completeness of compensation requests for executive committee reviews. + Analyze and drive gearing ratios to optimize financial leverage and performance. Conduct regular business and staffing reviews to ensure accountability for scale and efficiency. Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership. + Provide oversight of event requests and strategies for cost-effective execution. Facilitate executive approvals and drive best practices for tracking and reporting large-scale events, including internal meetings, industry conferences, and client engagements. + Manage and review commission override requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing in accordance with policies and approvals. Monitor & enhance transparency of cost implications from other commission-related decisions. + Prepare regular reports for executive leadership on governance activities, including the impact of compensation decisions and commission overrides. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations. + Serve as the point of accountability for adherence to reductions in headcount, compensation, and other major expenses through periodic cost takeout programs. Coordinate centralized tracking and reporting against program targets and achievements. + Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and influence others to adopt different viewpoints while adhering to policies and departmental plans. + Apply broad knowledge of the business and integrate own discipline with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + May provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring. + May manage daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and set and track deadlines. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. + Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Programs Manager position is $110,000 per year and the maximum salary for the Finance Programs Manager position is $130,000 per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
