Finance Project Manager Intern - Chicago, Illinois

This is a part-time, seasonal position.
Position Summary
The Project Manager Intern will support the project management office. We are a financial services firm with a significant project list. We work with some of the best modern technologies. Our key projects include financial reporting, customer portals, trade entry/routing, risk/margining, and departmental automation. We have a strong team that works well together and has a history of providing the best platforms for our users. If you enjoy the fast-paced environment of financial services and would like to deepen your project management skills, ADMIS is the place for you. Our paid internships are 10-12 weeks in duration during the summer.
Job ResponsibilitiesSchedule development, create and track project timelines, milestones, and critical data pathsAssist with project scope definition, financial justification, and vendor selection including RFP generation and reviewManage scope, issues, and risks to ensure project objectives are metEnsure resource availability and allocationProvide regular, accurate status reports and other communication to management and team membersMaintain a positive relationship with users, sponsors, and other stakeholdersGather customer requirements and create high-level component level architectureSchedule and lead project meetings with appropriate business and IT personnelDevelop detailed project plans to track progress from execution to deliveryManage multiple projects across various departments and interact with a range of internal and external resources and stakeholdersUse key metrics to measure project performance to identify areas for improvementProvide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progressImplement and manage change when necessary to meet project goalsEvaluate and assess the result of the projectManage documentation and reports to present the final status to project sponsors and identify keys areas for future developmentJob RequirementsPursuing a four-year degree in finance, project management, business administration, or a related fieldApplied understanding of project management toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCreative problem solvingHandles changing priorities, a fast-paced environment, and tight deadlines with ease and maturityComputer proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordCommitment to integrity, safety, diversity, and equalityPromotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesLanguages: English native or fluentADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
