Finance Reconciliations Officer

Responsibilities will include:

Reconciliation of Merchant and PSP balances Preparation of Merchant and Partner statements Reconciliation of incoming settlement and fees from Alternative Payment Methods Ensuring issues identified during reconciliations are reported to the relevant teams, logged into our internal systems and duly followed up on Updating the Finance teams on activities that occurred during the month and matters requiring their attention Ensuring fees charged by the Schemes are duly passed on to the Merchants Computation and recharging of custom Merchant fees Assisting with the compilation of ad hoc and monthly reports for onward distribution to key stakeholders Investigating and managing financial queries and issues related to the finance operations raised by both internal and external stakeholders Handling audit requests in a timely manner to ensure efficient audit engagements Other ad hoc tasks delegated by the manager

 

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating good command of the English language; Excellent numerical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office programs, mainly Excel; Able to work on own initiative, and have excellent attention to detail; Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills; Be a team player, flexible, and able to meet strict deadlines; Be able to work in a fast-paced environment; Previous experience within the Financial Services or Gaming Industry would be ideal; A banking or finance qualification would be an asset
