The opportunity
Our internal Finance department is looking for a Senior Finance Associate. You will be responsible for the control and input of transactions into the accounting ledgers of several legal entities. You will join a young and dynamic team, genuinely passionate about its work, within a leading global professional services firm.
Your key responsibilities
Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Supervise daily bookkeeping activities, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly. Reconcile accounts with internal accounting details provided by the ERP system and prepare overviews Maintain thorough documentation of reconciliation processes and findings. Identify discrepancies and work with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly. Check that the accounting and internal procedures are followed and the analytical coding is correct Prepare the accounting entries for the monthly and yearly closing, including the necessary documentation such as enclosures to tax returns and annual accounts Produce the open balances report for intercompany matching Support external statutory and fiscal audits Maintain and strengthen relationships with banking partners. Handle inquiries and requests from banks regarding transactions, account statuses, and other financial matters. Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations, and manage the documentation required for bank communications.
To qualify for the role you must have
Holding a Bachelor degree in Accounting At list 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar position Good knowledge of Greek and English language both written and communication Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent computer literacy Strong attention to detail Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
Ideally, you’ll also have
Excellent communication across cultures and within a virtual working environment Experience working in a multinational company
