We need an experienced Finance Senior Business Partner to join our Finance Business Team here at AWE Nuclear Security Research.
Location: Our offices are based in Berkshire, RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with onsite parking. Requirement for 1 to 2 days on site per week.
Salary Range: Starts at £59,020 this is very much open to negotiation.

A typical day for a Finance Senior Business Partner could look like this:
Building great relationships in complex environments
Leading numerous teams to balance resources to enable financial information and insight to be provided to drive business performance
Delivering improvements in financial awareness and acumen across AWE
Providing constructive challenge, scrutiny, insight and analysis to the Business/Budget Holders on their financial plans and programmes.
We would like you to have experience of:
Interfacing and reporting effectively with key stakeholders across and outside the businessA business leadership roleLeading, managing and integrating different financial teamsInfluencing sound business strategies to deliver savings and efficienciesDealing with complex business issues.Stakeholder management skills with ability to work collegiately at all levelsProficiency with a cost management tools / business systemsGreat rapport building and listening skillsWorking in a finance environmentDeveloping and mentoring a teamHaving operated in a similar or related role, ideally in Defence/MOD/ Nuclear or RegulatedYou may not tick every box and that is fine with us, attracting the right people is just as important as having technical experience in every aspect of our roles so we’d still love to hear from you.
