Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeTo perform accounting and reporting activities ensuring the accuracy and consistency of underlying data, and to liaise with external and internal customers to formulate and implement policy.
ROLE PURPOSE
Processing, analyzing, and reporting of financial statements and journals including intercompany reconciliation and confirmation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure consistency and effective suite of reports (e.g. general ledger) and results provided to business enabling management to monitor business profitabilityPerform medium complexity tasks, with increased focus on highly complex and urgent tasksAssist in the preparation of the monthly deliverable such as expense journals, re-classification of accounts, and management reportsResponsible in the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly BlackLine reconciliationResponsible in clearing Book and Bank reconciling items for the applicable business units
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge
Broad knowledge of Financial and Accounting ProceduresIntermediate understanding of best practice accountingKnowledge of appropriate regulatory/ statutory frameworks and how they impact on the insurance sectorsSkills
Sound technical understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation proceduresProblem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in MS toolsAnalytical SkillsKeen to detailsExperience
Must not have any active CAs or under PIPMinimum of 12 months in the current processAt least 2 years relevant work experienceAccounting graduate, preferably CPAHow to Apply:
